The owner commented on these important design choices in the main saloon, “In order to retain the authenticity of the Mid Century Modern aesthetic, we found and restored a Thorens TD-12k MKII turntable. The 39.62-metre superyacht <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/3757" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Horizon39.62m (129'12&quot;)">Horizon</a> has been sold, IYC has recently announced. Built by the American shipyard Westport Yachts and delivered in 2005, she was listed for sale in February of this year and was sold after just two months on the market.&nbsp;<img src="/uploads/store/photo/32238/image/large-ad3efc48a5c7f13e6da991a14b32c6d7.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/32238">A Westport 130’ model, Horizon’s naval architecture was undertaken by William Garden, with Gregory C. 	Built by the American shipbuilder Westport Yachts in 2004, the 39.62 metre superyacht Chasing Daylight has recently completed an extensive interior refit in Florida. Featuring exterior design by the in-house team at Westport, she features an interior from Pacific Custom Interiors. <a href="http://y.co/" target="_blank">Y.CO</a> has recently released the following photos detailing her transformation.

	A popular vessel on the charter market, her list of works includes the replacement of all soft furnishings throughout the guest areas, with her original gold and coral motif replaced with a more neutral colour scheme, the replacement of carpets and wall coverings and HVAC systems gutted - to name but a few of her updates and upgrades.

	We spoke to Captain of Chasing Daylight, Dane Tarr, regarding his experience of the refit in Florida, where he stated: “For this refit we based our self out of Sunrise Harbor Marina in Ft Lauderdale. It is a really nice marina that is great for crew. Most of the work that we did this go around was not very messy exterior wise, so I thought it would be better to keep the vessel out of the yard and where the crew could enjoy themselves as well. I have a great working relationship with Brad and Mike at the marina and they were able to accommodate our needs graciously.”
