The 71.71-metre Alstom superyacht Kogo sold in-house with Dominic Millman of Burgess representing the buyer and the seller. Delivered by her France-based shipyard in 2006, the superyacht with a beam of 13.5-metres features an exterior designed by Tim Heywood, and interiors from the drawing boards of Terence Disdale Design.Across a volume of 1,892 GT, as many as 14 guests can be accommodated in Kogo’s generously appointed seven stateroom configuration, while separate accommodation is also available for up to 21 crew members, including her captain. Composed of an Ice-classed steel hull and aluminium superstructure constructed to meet Lloyd’s classification and MCA compliance, the yacht exhibits a decor that is inspired by a “clean, modern” aesthetic with a “Zen influence”, according to the studio Terence Disdale Design.Given her colossal size, Kogo boasts a plethora of standout amenities and luxuries, including both an indoor and outdoor cinema, a wellness suite, along with endless lounge and dining areas.Performance-wise, Kogo comes equipped with a diesel electric propulsion system. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines that propel her to a breezy cruising speed of 15 knots and a top speed of 17 knots, over the course of a lengthy 5,000 nautical mile range. Furthermore, the addition of four Quantum zero-speed stabilisers ensures a smooth sailing experience for those onboard Kogo. At the time of her sale, Kogo’s last known asking price was $62,500,000.
